Three days vegan, the return of Kiki, making too many spam musubis, celebrating my parent’s anniversary, a visit to the Hammer, and a night with Steely Dan…feels like summer!

A week with a lot of selfies sowwwwie, cooking my first Egyptian dish (I f-ed up up), voting in the CA primaries, and picking up my birthday pottery.

The last few days on set in Utah, recovering from the tiring 10 day shoot, missing Kiki who is in NYC, working a weekend event, and eating out too much.

A week shooting a documentary in Salt Lake City, Utah about Zach’s grandmother and maternal side of the fam. Pics from around town, breaks, and sneaky pics of Zach at work.

I documented a day for work, took my little cousins back to Disneyland for their first Space Mountain experience, prepared for a 10 day documentary shoot in Utah, and made too much coconut curry.

Caught the office cold early on in the week, reunited with Kiki after she’d been in a work vortex, cooked way more than usual, tried acupuncture for the first time, and slurped some oysters.

A rocky start to the week with a 24 hour travel experience, a gathering with friends, swim suit shopping (boooo!), mourning Yoko, and a beautiful loving Mother’s Day weekend getaway with my whole family.

An 8 hour trip into the desert to see Beach House, eyebrow tricks from Marie and Kiki, a little cheek progress, going to the LA PUG MEETUP (YES), and seeing a LOT of kittens. So many. Acro-cats. Ugh. The best.

Visiting the Japanese American National Museum, flaming margaritas, blustery winds and concerns of my now very annoying eczema problems…plus a seafood dinner with my family!

A museum conference is in town and I nerd out in downtown over the food, the people, and the museums. My cheek heals and then relapses and I attempt to dress up a few times.

A journey to Hogwarts, visiting MOCA and the Natural History Museum, eating Korean wings and escaping from a Soviet Spy house.
