MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: MARCH 28 – APRIL 3, 2016!
A journey to Hogwarts, visiting MOCA and the Natural History Museum, eating Korean wings and escaping from a Soviet Spy house.
Enjoy!
The last walk with Parker in the AM before he goes back to his human master.
As usual, I am surprised and happy to see rain!
The white wisteria smelling and looking amazing
My face is alwaaaays grossssssss
Our weekly periscope was featured in Arts/Culture! So exciting.
Dead eyes. In the same conference room all day in and out doing some skype calls.
Cheeks update. Sigh. AM I EVER GOING TO GET BETTER
The clouds are killin’ it today
I had interviewed our garden expert a few weeks back about the Spring plantings, so needed new photos for a post.
Mini-video for @TheGetty’s Instagram
More honey stickers on my cheeks!
Dressed for a day at Universal Studios! Here to check out Harry Potter Land before the official opening.
Found some margaritas at the Duff Brewery
Taking our margaritas to go to stand in the line for the studio tour
LOOOOOK! It’s finally open for the day!
It’s always winter in Hogsmeade
In line through the Herbology Greenhouse
Food at the Three Broomsticks!
Have to try the Butterbeer! It’s reaaaaally sweet, so I recommend splitting with a few people.
There are all kinds of shops including Honeydukes, the candy store. Plus a small jokes shop, and of course places to get owls and robes and WANDS.
Some of the windows have displays that can be activated by wands! (Of course you need the wands purchased at Ollivanders with the right sensors)
Universal isn’t huge, we rode some of the bigger rides before heading out.
The next night we went to an evening event at the Natural History Museum which means *yay* we can take the metro
Credit card minimum means drinking two beers at once
Picking up the camera that was dropped up for a tune up
Decided to go out to Little Tokyo to MOCA’s Geffen location to see their ’90s show.
Just a few things that caught my eye
Tapioca chewy ball at Cafe Dulce
Out in K-Town for some Korean hot wings
And after a 3 hour long feast we escaped the Soviet Spy house Maze Room!
Skin update!!!!! *sigh* Still not seeing a huge difference
Out for a Hawaiian breakfast with my parents
Had some gift cards to use at Sugar fish but the estimated wait was 1.5 hours! So…we put our names in and left.
Went to have a beer nearby and wait, but by the time we sat with our beers they called back saying a table was ready! (Closer to 30 minutes…not bad)
I’ll leave you with a sushi pic.
Apologies for the delay, I had a week long museum nerd conference last week and was recovering from the chaos/over-exertion for my weak introvert self. That will be posted soon!
Much love friends.
