MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: MARCH 4–10, 2019!

Rain continues in Los Angeles, I say YES to being a bridesmaid, Marie and I head up to the Bay Area with cameras in tow, and I decide to cut dairy and gluten and try my best.

Enjoy!

Decided this week to try going dairy-free and gluten-free for the month as much as possible in an attempt to help my skin.

We ate great all weekend though, spoiled by Marie’s mom and dad feeding us a steady stream of fresh-cut fruit, Vietnamese food, and so much water.

Some questions that you may or may not feel inclined to answer? I dug up some questions from a tag question website…so original. So! Let’s do it. I invite you to answer in the comments:

  1. Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
  2. Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?
  3. If you had more courage what would you do differently in your life now?

__

  1. Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
    Out to eat!
  2. Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?
I’m definitely an avoider. However, if I feel like I did something wrong or want to address a problem I want to do it RIGHT away with no waiting time. It kills me to have to wait something out when I feel like I need to resolve it right away.
  3. Do you have a tattoo? What is it?
I don’t have one, but have been into watching stories from tattoo collectors on YouTube.

Thanks for reading! Much love friends.

  1. Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
    Some sort of botanical gardens.

Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?
Usually I engage head-on and get it over with. Sometimes I enjoy fighting.

If you had more courage what would you do differently in your life now?
If I had more courage, I wish I never went to art school and worked my way instead. I probably wasn’t mature enough back then but I still find myself thinking this often.

What’s your MBTI type if you don’t mind me asking?

      1. Ahh, I see–my favorite people tend to be INFx!
I’m an INTJ and I tend to gravitate most towards intuitive introverts.
        I score 60/40 thinking/feeling and 50/50 judging/perceiving.
MBTI is a pseudoscience but I find it entertaining like astrology or the enneagram test.

      2. I feel the same! I particularly like to ask others what theirs are, I find it’s a good conversation starter esp when you want to learn more about how other people perceive situations, conflicts, etc.

      3. I agree! The validity of MBTI types has been a recent debate amongst friends. My male friends tend to dismiss MBTI because of the complexity of humans. I’m an INTJ/INTP now but in elementary school I was an INFJ. Not everyone will fall neatly into each category and may change over time. I think it’s silly to dismiss it entirely. It’s just a limited/basic overview of general personality.

Oh, and if you’re interested in astrology at all, co-star is an app that gives you a more in depth analysis and allows you to see your friends’ compatibility. I’m skeptical of astrology but again, it’s a lot of fun!

  2. I hope your diet changes help out your skin.

Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
    – We have some great restaurants here!

Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?
    – Well, definitely nowadays I engage it head-on, just so my students know that they have someone fighting for them.

If you had more courage what would you do differently in your life now?
    – I would have left teaching a long time ago and gotten involved in politics.

  3. Oh, let us know how the diet change affects your skin. I’ve been thinking about ditching dairy as well, but as I hardly eat meat, I kinda like the protein I get from dairy…

Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
Hofgarten (Munich) – grab a coffee and enjoy the sunshine on a bench.

Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?
I like to avoid conflict for as long as possible. Jobwise that’s probably something I should work on, in my private life I’m okay with it. Annoy me for a long time, I somewhen tell you off – but then I’m fine again 😉

Do you have a tattoo? What is it?
I don’t have one, but once in a while I think about getting one.
