MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: MARCH 11–17, 2019!
This week is all about plants—looking for wild ones, buying new houseplants, and bonding with my parents over a plant nursery. We also visit Huntington Gardens to see the cherry blossoms and catch some wild poppies.
Enjoy!
Monday morning, what’s up. Acne Waldo here.
Somehow ended up with 11 pieces to glaze all in one evening.
One napkin holder and another hand built face cup
Glenn glamour moment as I head out the door
Carpool quick stop on Sawtelle to run to the Daiso
Tristan on his organizational journey
“Did you move to LA to pursue your dream as a youtuber?” Did notice this sign, hated this sign, but yes, I did buy one cuz it’s a good idea for my extra memory cards ha
Still on my dairy-free, gluten-free journey, but sushi rice and soy sauce have gluten and I’m just tryin’ my best
At Daiso I got 7 new face towels, one for every day. They are so soft they almost don’t seem like towels.
New shirt, accidentally bought pink (I thought it was red) but I’m weirdly enjoying it. I’m not a pink girl.
Shooting a video at work, it’s been a while being directly behind the camera. It was fun!
Maybe the Death Cab record I bought was a good choice, maybe it was a bad choice…
Zach bought groceries and accidentally bought apple cider vinegar instead of apple cider, so we had to change glaze directions
Touching roasted beets gives you pink fingers, it turns out
Slightly over baked cod, but overall okay.
Zach’s passion project: the hummingbird feeders
Zach choosing to clean his windshield right before we drive out to go hiking
It’s the superbloom and it’s also been actually green around Los Angeles, perfect time to go outside.
This area was part of the fires last year, and to see all the scorched trees with the new greenery is unsettling and also…yay the earth is healing.
These were all taken within like 5 mins of the start of the trail, but the views were literally so nice.
Not quite the superbloom, but still beautiful, and who doesn’t love the California State flower…
Even the hillsides on the side of the PCH have flowers
Is that a Nutcracker dressed up for St. Patrick’s?
Somehow my shittiest bowls I end up using the most.
Saturday night, Indian food delivery for dinner.
Sunday morning, off to pick up my parents
San Gabriel Nursery aka heaven! Went around with my parents for a long time pointing out and thinking through plants
Parents swatching wall paint colors, so subtly different…
Hi, I’m addicted to Stardew Valley
Some corned beef from my mom for dinner. I literally played Stardew for like 6 hours…help.
Much love friends.
I am officially caught up! I’m loving all your new plant friends. Your house just seems like the cosiest of places.

As a foreigner it really is weird seing California that green – I only know pictures, but those always have been more yellow-brownish-green than this. Love all the flowers!
