MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: FEBRUARY 25–MARCH 3, 2019!
Rainy Los Angeles, hunting for flamin’ hot asteroids, cooking Japanese food at home, and spending Sunday with James at Disneyland.
Enjoy!
Monday night, I went straight from work to Mitsuwa because I was craving some Japanese food.
I decided on Sanuki for some curry udon and mapo tofu (couldn’t decide which to get so I got both!)
Some more Waldo-original pottery. I’ve been working on improving handles and making pairs of items. These two are like second-cousins rather than sisters, but I still like the color, texture, and…well…every handle is a learning experience.
My deep obsession with Sharp Objects over the previous weekend led to a spontaneous online order of the book.
Checking in on my plants. My cherry tomato isn’t too happy…hmm.
Spending the morning at the Getty Villa
Lunch before heading back to the Center
My boss gave me a hummingbird feeder cleaner brush!
After work Tristan and I went on a mission to find hot cheeto asteroids aka my FAVORITE CHILDHOOD VERSION OF HOT CHEETOS do you remember these? Anyways, it was a true journey. We heard they were available at 7/11 so we mapped a route on our carpool home and stopped at as many as possible.
We got some other intriguing snacks but no asteroids in sight.
Even though we couldn’t find any, I must be grateful for our variety here in Los Angeles. Some places don’t even have limon!
Somebody is eager to go outside
The day went from foggy to rainy and totally cloudy. I don’t mind!
Over to Tristan’s to watch the premiere episode of Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 11.
My cactus, living its best life
Saturday, it was pouring rain over night. Thunder and lightning and the whole deal.
Decided to run some errands. Realized that the workroom light had three different bulbs in the ceiling light.
At Disneyland today with James!
It was some kind of adventure land themed meet up day, everybody in “safari” outfits
Pretzel with nacho cheese topped with flamin’ hot funyons and black salt wowwoowow how did they know we needed this to watch Mickey and the Magical Map
Got stuck a bit on Haunted Mansion with enough time to get a slow shutter speed pic of the singing busts
James accidentally dropping poor Eeyore
Tried a few dishes from the Food and Wine Festival, including “Frushi” aka fruit sushi
Ghost pepper mac and cheese (it wasn’t really that spicy)
Learned to draw Steamboat Willie Mickey
I know it looks like all we did was eat (which isn’t wrong) but I swear there were rides and lots of walking in between
Matterhorn has a cute new entrance to split the fast pass and standby entrance lines
Goodnight, Disneyland. We walked like 25,000 steps. A great day!
Thanks for reading!
Much love friends.
i am going to come and steal all your lemons. Also, those chewbacca ears are super cute! As always, thanks for sharing your days.
