MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JULY 10–16, 2017!
Enjoying my new haircut, seeing Marie in the brief window she’s in town, sleeping on the floor, shrimp tacos, reuniting with Tristan and Kiki and hitting Orange County hard, mini golf, museums and puzzles. So many puzzles.
Enjoy!
Still enjoying the new-ness of my haircut
My hair texture is funky but I appreciate the funkiness with this cut
Another story I worked on (mainly on the media elements here) that is about the internship program that I also did at the Getty.
The heat wave continues, and I continue to sleep in the living room on my futon in front of the standing AC unit.
Shooting with my intern in the galleries—haven’t been up in the paintings galleries for quite some time.
Marieeee! Back from her trip abroad.
I was craving easy to go Japanese food so we went to pick some up (and snacks too)
Unagi, spicy tuna rolls, and a chicken karage bento
Woke up from my floor bed and Tweedy was literally taking up most of the space ahaha.
Out for a museum-worker meet up for happy hour
~another night out on the floor~
Reading the content strategy 101 basics book I’ve had on my desk for a while
For some reason I love de-shelling shrimps
Seasoned the shit out of these
Marie cooking the seasoned shrimps
The lettuce was tossed in a cilantro-lime-garlic-sour cream-mix and the little tacos were made with guac and THESE were so good.
Finally finished this puzzle fueled by avocado toast
Trimmed his ears even more because I thought they were a little too long.
Working from home before heading in for a night event
Finally caved and had a window AC installed in the bedroom. 5 nights sleeping on the floor was leaving me grumpy and without a good night’s rest.
One of the pics I uploaded on @TheGetty on Instagram from the last performance.
Saturday morning, kicking it off with a new puzzle. Truly been life-saving to calm my stress.
Ready for a day out in Orange County
Peanut is the cutest why is her face so smol
Checking out the triennial at the museum I used to work at (you may remember if you’ve read my LJ for a while)
The show’s connecting theme was architecture and space
Ripping a sticker out of her hair
Stopped at Anaheim Packing House
This place has all kinds of food vendors and seating in a market-vibe.
Sniffing out some breweries nearby
Passed a fish store (is that what they are called? Hahah, fish tank/fish shop?)
Was SO delighted by this fish, it follows you up out of the water and blows bubbles and is so so cute omg.
Beer from Hoparazzi Brewery, not bad!
Decided on a spontaneous trip to play a round of mini golf and a round of lazer tag nearby
None of us were particularly good but hey I have a soft spot for mini golf
These kinds of games are my weakness
Early dinner/late lunch at Capriotti
At Dodger Stadium to see Earth Wind and Fire, Journey and Fleetwood Mac
AND THEN GAME OF THRONES SEASON PREMIERE!!!!!! (DID YOU WATCH)
Enjoy!
Those coin push games are weirdly addictive! There’s a game show here based on those games called Tipping Point. You can find it on YouTube!
The palm trees in Koreatown are HUGE – how are they still upright?
You and Tristan look so stressed in that hammock it made me laugh

Looked up Tipping Point…I am v. delighted. And learned you “Family Feud” is called “Family Fortune” in the UK based on the trivia round.
The hammock was very…unstable…and we weren’t confident we wouldn’t break it haha!
