MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: DECEMBER 19-25, 2016!
Days at work and with friends (mostly eating) leading up to the holidays. Then spending time with my parents in South Pas, wrapping gifts, making cookies and gingerbread houses with my little cousins, and soaking in the family cheer.
Enjoy!
I love going into the visitor services suite because they have so much festive spirit

A portrait of what I got in the advent calendar. This was probably one of my favorite things this holiday season. It was fun to pick out the even days for Zach, and be surprised by small gifts, but silly and semi-practical ones too 🙂
Starting to pack for my time in South Pas
Kiki came over after work and helped me eat up some food I needed to get out of my fridge before the holidays.
And that night, packed up and headed to South Pas!

But not without some avocado toast for fuel
Took my parents to see Rogue One, they had never been to an Arclight and were like little kids in a candy shop. Excited to bring wine into the theater, and to have the tickets on your phone and choose seats ahead of time.
After we had dinner at Islands, I used to come here with my uncle a lot. Fond memories of Islands even tho it’s OKAY haha
Not the prettiest wrapped gifts for my parents, but my mom told me not to use any of her ribbon haha
I got my parents the same socks so we would all match hahaha
My mom modeled the scarf/shawl she got me
I got puzzles from cousins, shoes and sweaters from my parents, some cute texting gloves from a family friend…
My mom making her chicken wings and ham
Bundled and ready to head out to make mochi at my mom’s friend’s house

Got home and had to start working on my casserole for the family potluck
Call me chef Waldo in my mom’s apron

Auntie picked first in the White Elephant. I ultimately got stackable tupperware…PRACTICAL. The theme was “As Seen on TV”, so I’m happy we all get at least functional things for the most part
Played more with the kids upstairs, and headed home relatively early. My family had to pack for our usual wine country trip that we’d leave for in the morning.
Much love friends.
