MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JULY 4-10, 2016!
A cutie 4th of July with my family and friends, snuggles with Tweedy, Korean delivery food, and a few days in New York with Zach’s family.
Enjoy!
Good morning, it’s the 4th of July and I’m off work. First things first? Boil some eggs.
I continued shooting for this freelance gig. Do you like my jewelry rig? Impressive, right…
Just keep shootin’, shootin’, shootin’
I brought baby weenies to a friend’s BBQ
Wrapped a little sausage in hamburger meat
Deviled egg competition…another version available.
Not bad, honestly! Especially with mustard.
Last pics through the screen on the way out to my family bbq.
We made a chalk obstacle course as we were waiting for the sun to set and fireworks to start.
Cuuute…making the obstacle course made me miss camp.
The lil’ ones first fireworks show.
Went on a plant tour of the garden at work, I love these lil’ hanging flowers/pepper looking things.
Apparently for a few days I had mentioned this one restaurant and wanting korean spicy chicken and wanting rice cakes and Zach caved and got some from OB Bear!
I saw Secret Life of Pets, which was…fine…but the cutest parts were the pets excited to see their owners when they got home. Gave the pups extra love.
To a red eye flight to New York
Walking around midtown in some intense humidity.
The breakfast sandwich at Cookshop…amazeballs.
This exhibition was about Unfinished artworks since the Renaissance, whether the unfinished part was purposeful or not.
Got this text from my mom while at the museum…NOOOO…lion cut again on Snow.
My knees feel extra knobbly and weak, maybe from doing a red eye flight.
Passed out on the grass in Central Park. Still exhausted from no real sleep.
As we were walking towards midtown it started pouring rain…we had no umbrella or cover really, we were in the park so we tried to find an uber as quickly as possible.
Passed through this cute pop up food stall marketplace.
Beer float!? What is this? I wish I tried one.
From ramen to a rooftop bar with wine/popsicles.
Walking along the Hudson River Park
Early morning train ride to Hudson Valley
Here to see Zach’s little brother in a musical he’s in
Walking down this cute mainstreet in Hudson. So many shops have artwork by this mysterious “Earl” (he signs his name on everything)
Gorgeous barn that is actually a theater! That’s where we saw Max’s play.
Shake Shake in the park, I tried the portobello burger (with muenster cheese!)
Chaotic scene near Times Square
Discovered a store I want to live and die in…FLYING TIGER. It’s from Copenhagen, and I think the only USA store is the one in NYC. Everything is cute and affordable.
Almost got these, but felt bad for the scents that would escape from the bag in the airplane.
Got a “personal” watermelon from the store, so sweet! Cut it up for the week.
Even the Flying Tiger wrapping paper is cute.
These cups are the most “me” cups I’ve ever seen.
Tristan and I spent about 2 hours after our evening storytelling class catching pokemon at a nearby park.
Much love friends.
