MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JANUARY 5 – 11, 2015
The first full 2015 week! Starts on the couch in South Pas and moves to the office in LA, then to the beach in San Juan Capistrano. Lots of tissue, more cat scarves, and thankfulness for my parents.
Enjoy!
Monday morning, Tubby judging me for being sick still. It's the first day I'm supposed to be back at work, but definitely it's the worst day of the flu symptoms for sure.
So after a dramatic morning of feverish crying and babbling for my mom, I ended up looking like a drunk/high emoji
By evening, I was feeling a bit better. Always nice to have mom and cats to comfort me.
They come a bit closer every day (I think at first they were scared of my coughing and weird snoring)
On Tuesday I finally got out of bed and put on shoes! My mom insisted I get in the car and get some "fresh air".
My dad drove us through an alley in El Sereno to show us a new mural he found while running.
A diverse spread of street art
These two are like peas in a pod
Ankle scratches from your mom are the best thing in the world, I think. Becoming such a baby this week. Though, I was so so grateful to have somebody to take care of me when I was at my worst!
On Wednesday, I had energy to crochet! Hallelujah!
Like…are you KIDDING me ahahah
Made two scarves to send to Alex and his two cats. Plus a watercolor of his kitties!
THURSDAY! Back to work, finally! Feeling okay, but lookin' dead.
Stealing tissue boxes from my old office to bring into the dungeon
Appreciating being outside and free!
Friday, alone in the office! My hair is going crazy
Wearing my "Trust Me. I'm a dentist." socks from the Huntarian.
Friday night was whisked away to visit Dana Point
It was such a dramatic, rainy, stormy weekend. It felt extra nice to sit inside, rest, read, and listen to the rain outside.
On the way to see Inherent Vice in the back of a car. Reverse seating is fun!
"Downtown San Juan Capistrano"
Post my first real meal since I got sick. GUACAMOLE BURGER HEY
Visiting an antique mall in San Juan Capistrano
Found this amazing cross stitch
$225 for a prosthetic eye, bargain!
We find this brown jacket gem for Zeen!
This is for laundry. Must have.
Recognize this print, anybody?!?!?!?!
I'll let you think….
It's in my apartment…
It's been with me since college…
My futon! So weird to see the same print on a set of chairs.
Also sent this to my dad. He owns this "crying monk" in smaller form. It sits in our living room.
Gorgeous belated Christmas gifts, many from Bhutan! *dies* Also a knitting kit. Must learn to knit next!
After super foggy nights with no sunsets, this was a gorgeous and welcome surprise!
Nothing better than Sunday night Tweedy snuggles.
I'm all caught up!
Much love friends.
