MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: NOVEMBER 24 – 30!
Better late than never! Here's the whirlwind week of Thanksgiving "break". Aka – time spent at home and lots of food.
Arrived at the Getty early. Like at 6:30 early.
I walked over to the galleries. I'm here to film and photograph the installation of our new Manet.
Here's the video we ended up making. It shows the arrival of the painting, the analysis of it, and the install.
That night I went to a comedy show at the Blind Barber. Basically, a barber shop out front that you walk through to get to a hidden speakeasy at the back. Plus comedy!
But got to Kiki's just as she was unwrapping our Indian food goodies.
All that for $20! (And we split it!) Not bad at all. We should ask for the next level of spiciness next time though.
Stopped off at Rite Aid in the morning.
Taking these pups for their morning stroll
Is this blue winter light? "Winter!" Ahhh
Tweedy has no bones. He also looks kinda like the Grinch.
Yeah. He had to get a bath before I took him back to South Pas.
I had some veggies to use up so when I got back home first thing, soooo being good Californians we made some kale chips.
The crabs are too big for mama to pick up. But maaan that was a delicious dinner
Mama took me to Kohl's to find some gifts.
Life-size Olaf? Terrifying or cute?
That night went out with the high school friends in the classic "Wednesday night before Thanksgiving" fashion. (HI RACHEL)
Good morning! Haaaappy Thanksgiving! We went to my cousin's house for Thanksgiving breakfast.
We played obstacle course all morning
Lil' sista down from San Francisco

Help Iris photograph her new works
And now my FOURTH Thanksgiving meal in 2 days ahaha.
Guh, the struggle. So good. This was the best turkey yet! It was from a Chinese restaurant near Iris.
The next morning I visited my great uncle at his home. They have these awesome painted doors.
Boiling Crab! We got there before it opened at like 11:55 and there were already like 10 groups of people waiting. Thankfully we got in too.
Blockheads experience! (You just have to after Boiling Crab)
Rachel's reaction to trying "snow cream" for the first time hahah
Then we had a cousins lady date to take the metro to Little Tokyo
THE BEST! We're at the Japanese American National Museum's Hello Kitty show!
Flashbacks to my childhood everywhere
Tell me these don't look familiar!
This is Hello Kitty's CAT. Hello Kitty is a girl, she's not a cat. You can tell this one is a cat because she's on all fours! (The more you know!)
