MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: NOVEMBER 17 – 23
A busy work week and a busy play week. Drawing, reorganizing, take out, and a puppy meeting party. I hope you enjoy!
Hopped on a call a bit early, noticed the huge zit between my eyes. Excellent.
Somehow the leaves at the Getty turned red in the blink of an eye.
Getting back into my routine of walking down the hill. Catching the lovely sunset!
The traffic looks pretty when you're up on the hill
Gabby comes over with a special friend! Banksy! Her co-workers pup that she pup sits sometimes.
Sufi and Banksy got along sooo cute! It's weird for Sufi because he's such an anti-social dog. At the dog park he goes around to the people to get pet, he usually has no interest in other dogs.
I think Tweedy definitely was a little jealous.
And then in the morning it was Tweedy-gets-a-bath-day
Sufi ignores me yet sits directly next to me. What does he need.
I make a trip to Mitsuwa for a lunch stop. TENDON! YUMMM!
This adorable pup had to stop every 4 seconds to smell something.
I reorganized the kitchen to get some more counter space. Because that huge microwave dominates the only counter. Finally!!
Wearing my turtleneck feeling like I'm in That 70s Show
Cruised over to Santa Monica to go ice skating in their little ice rink there.
Ice-skating is actually exhausting hahah, but it's always fun to feel chilly in Southern California
Bundled up for work the next morning
The weather has actually been a bit gloomy, which is confusing…even for November.
That night I was working pretty late (until around 7:30) and leaving the office at the time (knowing I'm underground and alone) makes so nervous. I always run down the hallway towards the exit.
Trying another little candy kit
Candy made me look like wolverine in the morning
I think days when I'm working alone in the office are somehow the coldest
Finally happy to be out of that cold box! With a bit of sun left!
I start working on a few ideas for a my house project
That night I drag out James and Zach to try a barcade I've been wanting to visit. It's a bar that also has a bunch of vintage and new arcade games.
We were there for like 4 hours…didn't even notice the time pass. Pinball is real fun!
Cozy Saturday clothes for some more drawing
Of course the new show wasn't open yet (my bad) but I caught this Larry Sultan show…which was just great. Go see it. His writings are profound. Sounds dramatic. But I think so.
Drop by the Goodwill for a lil' shoppin'
I get home and empty out the closet. It's time to clear out clothes I don't wear and donate those.
I spend a few hours reorganizing and cleaning.
And my new organized cleaner room!
Surprise presents from the Roll N Rye that CLOSED!!!!!! I'm so happy to have a little bit of the restaurant to have at home.
Wandering around the pier area at California adventure is surprisingly cute. I forget about this area (that I believe is supposed to be like San Fran).
And from "San Fran" you can see over to the dramatic desert.
Finding out my spirit animal. I'm a salmon……….
Scary lighting in the hallway for Soaring over California
Waited in line for over an hour for Indiana Jones. Was kind of refreshing to wait in a long line…reminds me of coming to D-land with my family when I was young with other families with only children. We always waited in the longest lines (pre-fast pass existing).
It's a Small World all festive
Much love friends.
I realize Instagram embeds are slow? (Are they for you?) So feel free to browse, follow, or whatevz if you wish: Here!
Trying to get back on track with my travel updates. I have a documented day in Sevilla up next (though it's over 200 photos right now…eeek!)
