MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: SEPTEMBER 15 – 21
Friends in town from out of state and out of country! Making casseroles and destroying good sleep habits. Many bathroom pictures and hesitant eyebrows. That's this week! Enjoy.
Started off the week with this neck cut that Sufi kindly gave it. Prevented me from freely looking up, side to side or parallel parking safely.
Always appreciative of these little parallels that happen occasionally
Starting out with a late night – though evenings do come earlier now that summer is winding down
Look what a little stork dropped on my doorstep from Portland! Alex!! With a fresh leg wound from that landing, I guess.
Halloween section at Ralphs is always dangerous
Are you kittening me. Also how many other people's faces have been inside this. It's like I've kissed many strangers.
We put together a mixed assortment of beers we'd never tried from the beer aisle. Flipside Sierra Nevada was surprisingly good.
I had a bunch of veggies and decided to make my first ever casserole! I think it turned out pretty good. Red potatoes, onions, zucchini, garlic, cheese, red peppers and topped with bread crumbs.
Alex made some spam fried rice
Played a few rounds of scattergories. I'm surprised I didn't use "anal" any more than I did.
The next day Alex came to visit me at work! He lost an arm while trying to panorama.
Jeff Koons ain't got nothin' on me
Took him around, saw Paul Giamatti
Is this what aging is?
Neighbor is getting his plants together. Forming some kind of club.

Running errands not letting errands run me
Put together a film photo post that you can see here.
Off to work in my lil' girl dress
But does it make me look like a lil' girl? I met another staffer and she asked me if I was out of high school. Fair enough.
Sun is setting, my notebook is ready! Attending a lecture…
Lecture hall near the Baldessari
Here for a lecture about Tokyo and photography
It was great!
I feel like I'm always at Alibi Room.
They've made it back from their California road trip! Just in time to try Kogi.
"I just ate bacon off this stick" face. He had a maple bacon cocktail.
Any guesses what world famous monument these two French dudes crafted on the bar?
He's always messin' around with stuff
And my favorite activity on my day off – going to the airport!
Airport mirror shot! I just love bathroom mirror shots these days. I should make a collection.
Iced coffee to beat this heat!
I attempted to fill in my brows for an event at the Ace Hotel that I perceived as "cool" and "important" so I went for it.
With unsure results. That's fo real.
All dressed and ready to roll
Ace Hotel in Downtown LA
Where do we park!??!! It's always fun to try to find the cheapest lot in a few blocks radius. We got $5? Not bad?
Derp face, holding camera gear
Cutie pie winkus ready to stand UP
Zeen's employer re-designed the lobby and restaurant. He helped install. This party was with peeps from work.
Rooftop loveliness! I recommend checking out the bar up on the roof, I think anybody can go up there.
And of course.
I'm basically here to be a videographer for Zeen's comedy set.
*ooooh la la*
A JACUZZI. ON THE ROOF!!!!
Elegant DINNER aka JACK IN THE BOX
The next morning I cleaned up my tomato plant (that is still giving me little red gems)
Tweedy just sat around NOT HELPFUL
It was my turn to see Alex at his place while he's in town.
Hung up these gorgeous prints
Became coke friends
How cute are these little citrus coasters Alex makes!
Then I met up with my parents at their church fundraising bazaar.
