MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: SEPTEMBER 11–17, 2017!
A week of intense workshops in Denver before heading back to a weekend of art openings, eating with parents, dog sitting my favorite Peanut, and getting back into Los Angeles life. Oh and new very yellow pants.
Enjoy!

Good morning! I’m in Denver, Colorado, for a work-related conference this week.

This conference is called an intensive, so the three days of the conference we had two different three-hour workshops.

Free happy hour at the conference hotel…who doesn’t like extremely salty crunchy stuff!?

Walking around Denver at the end of the first day of the conference.

Walked to the Denver Central Market. It’s like Grand Central Market in LA but smaller and fancier.

And we got to sit at the counter and watch the restaurant people make pasta

More Denver Central Market shots—it was so empty I was surprised. But later we heard there was an important sports game aha which may have been why nobody was out and about.

Heading out to the conference hotel

The cheese spread was A+ on day two of the conference

Workshops workshops workin’ at the workshop

(I also got one that says “I’m an Introvert, Please Talk to Me” for good balance)

Fresh out of the shower to the conference party

Il Posto! I had some octopus and burrata omg.

Last evening of the conference, decided to walk around again

Element Kitchen and Cocktail….was a little nervous cuz the tagline on the website is “A farm to table sports bar with all the best amenities.” BUT! It came through.

Asked to sit alone by the window

Queso from Torchy’s Tacos (didn’t know they had Torchy’s outside of Austin)

Checking out today, kinda sad the trip is over but am happy to be going home

Lovely last sights before heading home

Mmm Zach made a welcome home miso cod

Watching Peanut for Kiki this weekend

I forgot that Fridays mean spaghetti and meatballs in the cafe

Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA is liiiive!

Blessed to have three dogs with me

Sometimes while I’m sitting around Zach will come by and just drop healthy snacks in front of me…I GET THE HINT

Was looking for Sufi and found him outside doing this omg

Mom gave me a bundle of these, yum

REI for some first aid kit shopping

Literally struggling to find a bandeau

Zach being picky about journals

My new pants came in and when I saw what Tristan was wearing I had to be obnoxious and match him

Downtown to see an opening…but we were too early. Oops.

Beautiful evening hopping places in LA

Love my new camera so much baby

Good ol’ fashioned jumping pictures

Last show of the evening at Mistake Room

I’ll always find a dog at an opening

Marie told me that goat’s milk soap is good for eczema so here I am trying it.

Happy Sunday! Decided to take the pups out to get some nice treats.

Turns out there was a farmer’s market but no dogs were allowed, so I chilled with them while Zach found some juices.

HOW CUTE ARE THESE DOGS TREATS

Editing some pics from the week before for a day in my life

Went home for dinner with my parents

Mmmm I want to re-eat this dinner

Truly cannot deal with these pics

Driving to Zach’s show in Hollywood

*Thinks harder about which icecream to get than anything else*

You can assemble your own icecream sandwiches

I got a mango chile lime sorbert, mmmm. Pretty good!
Hope you are safe and happy this week. Have a good day or night!
Much love friends.

yay jumping photos!

Re: Denver, breweries! Denver Art Museum! “RINO” (River North) is a trendy up and coming neighborhood with lots of street art, Denver Central Market and fancy restaurants. Ate at a place called Kachina Southwestern Grill which was so delicious. A little fancy, in a boutique hotel downtown! Hope that helps?!
Tweedy loves Peanut…maybe a little too much. He gets kind of humpy. (Not to fret, he’s definitely fixed.) Sufi just is evasive but that is normal for him!
And yes, I think my mom wants me to come around for dinner more often so she always pulls out all the stops!!

Denver isn’t really a place I considered visiting until I saw your posts!
