MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: MAY 1–7, 2017!

Work field trips to Facebook and the Getty Villa, picking out and breaking in my new griddle, checking out the Jimmie Durham show at the Hammer, and the best way to end the week—a session of Dungeons and Dragons.

Enjoy!

Was so excited to see watermelon at my grocery store that I scooped one up. It wasn’t totally ripe, but I’m still happy to have watermelon back for summer.

I only want to be wearing this cat shirt. Every day.

Doing grill research—been eyeing a griddle/grill versatile combo that I can use for Korean/Japanese BBQ, shallow soups, breakfast, burgers, etc. So many products at there!

Back to my favorite place, the dentist!

This mysterious “installation” of sorts was going on in the lobby. Seriously thought “oh…did my dentist get an artist in residence?”

Overload, but I really loved the Jimmie Durham show. Sad, devastating, thoughtful, funny—and some pieces critiquing the history of collecting and museums.

Noticed it was free comic book day at a place I drive past near my neighborhood, popped over and got a bunch of goodies.

  1. Ahhhhh!! That Quinoa Salad! I really love all your healthy food choices ❤

Also, that Jimmie Durham show is great, thanks for sharing! I totally crossed my eyes and closed my left eye at the same time to see if my nose would look like that ahahaha

    1. The quinoa salad is easy to make but I just need to be better about not mixing in the dressing (lemon, olive oil, balsamic vinegar) at once because by the end of the week it gets a lil’ mushy.

      I did the same! 🙂

  2. Jasmine is my favourite scent – so heady and summery!

Your Korean grill is making me extremely hungry so might have to google what Korean restaurants are near me…
