MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: APRIL 24–30, 2017! (BIRTHDAY WEEK)
Crashing college night at work, making spam musubi, the best dinner I was *lucky* enough to enjoy, and a birthday celebration with friends a friend’s brewery.
Enjoy!
Waking up slightly early has benefits with the warm light in my kitchen.
Taco lunch with our new merged department at work.
Where does the wall end and Tristan begin!?!?
It was Getty College Night and co-workers built out an installation using online collections data.
We hopped into the free photobooth line cuz we’re totes college students.
Was starving—picked up some hot and sour soup for dinner.
Zeen got me obsessed with Ballz (download the app if you want something to consume your life) and was so proud of this high score. Of course his high score is now like close to 300.
My neighbor’s garden is exploding with flowers
Tristan is good and always meal preps. Today he shared his lunch with me cuz he made too much accidentally.
Tristan discovered my secret emergency blazer that I keep by my desk in case I need to look more presentable at work.
Cleaned my desk and now my garlic can truly shine without little post-its around him
Stopped at Marukai, was tempted by this toilet candy
Got suckered into this cute ass reusable bag
~Memories~ from one of my birthday’s in high school
Woke up a bit early to make some spam musubis to take to work.
Today is my birthday, happy to spend the morning with spam and doggos
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS SUSHI DINNER *HEAVEN* LITERALLY
Lil’ succulent friends (hope I don’t kill these too)
MAX!! Never seen him out and about, really made me try to find A Goofy Movie online later and it was tuff.
Beauty and the Beast in the lil’ theater
Watched a good chunk of the Jedi Training Academy and it’s just the cutest
Pickle popcorn, I can’t leave without it
Back to Disneyland to see the Main Street Electric Parade
Found ourselves in Marina Del Rey (took another trail on the bike path) and discovered a Fisherman’s Village
Teaching the student to become a spam master
On the way to Progress Brewing we stopped to pick up something and it was a very sweet cute Totoro cake.
Had a lovely time with friends at Progress, and it was a great birthday celebration.
Another new succulent joins the team
A mixny card by Maria!!! Awwww
Zeen got in the spirit and made queso dip
Smoothies to make the marinating time pass
A true fajita feast in time for Zach to watch the final game between jazz (his fav team) and Clippers
Looking like trash picking up a baguette on my way home for a family dinner
Mom making scallops and crab for dinner!
YUAHH nothing better than a meal ur mom makes
Her zig zag scar hiding a badass metal plate
Will leave it here! Aha.

Happy belated birthday! I always love your Disney photo’s, even though they remind me of the fact that I haven’t been to Disneyland (Paris) in over 5 years :'(( Sad times haha.

HAPPY 27 AND ONE MONTH!
Your sushi dinner looks delicious. And words cannot express how much I love your Totoro cake!!
Stray thoughts:
You matched your bag with your socks! That’s some high-level coordination!
College night looks cute!
Please get Tristan to share his meal-prepping genius with me! I am terrible at it.
TOILET CANDY. and SUSHI BAG.

TY!!!!!!!
I think Zach just sent them that picture and they printed it somehow on a piece of fondant. You can potentially achieve your very own Totoro cake!
A few things I’ve observed from Tristan’s skills:
-On “lazy” weeks he’ll bring a packet of bread and a packet of lunch meat and use mustard from the Getty to make sandwiches at work
-When he looks the chicken/rice/veggies, he does it ALL in one night and packages it *that* night so he can just grab a container. Plus he has some hot sauce at work and hot sauce will make anything taste good.
(I’m bad at giving useful tips but yeah…my observations) 🙂
