MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: APRIL 4-10, 2016!
A museum conference is in town and I nerd out in downtown over the food, the people, and the museums. My cheek heals and then relapses and I attempt to dress up a few times.
Enjoy!

Trying some meal sharing with my co-worker! I brought salad, he brought pasta. Cuuute!

A looong day at work rewarded with some delivery ramen from one of my favorite places. Mmm.

And a homemade moscow mule in a fancy Target “Gordon’s Cup”!!

Decided to take a step to like my appearance again and touch up the blue!

Roses being particularly eye-catching

Blue again! Very happy with the dye mix this time around.

And FINALLY Xerxes gave me a memento.

A museum conference in town means some fun behind-the-scenes tours at work

From work to La Brea. I kind of forgot this area of LA existed.

So from Weds to Sat it was a museum conference in Downtown LA, many museum nerds descended on the city. But that meant I got to the take the train every day AND go to more museums! Yay.

Quick icecream break…with sea salt and olive oil

More of this fancy conference hotel

Went out for a friend’s b-day. Tired from conference.

Here’s the entrance to the bar. Thru a fridge

Tryna feel posi about myself, digging my hair

Power clashing with the carpet

More views of downtown. So fun to be able to walk around, have lunch at new places…WALK!

Conference day 3, missing my pup boys. Cuz conference means morning till bedtime, with all kinds of events besides sessions.

Outdoors is chilly and cold, but indoors is chilly and dark.

Ice cream social + nerds I stole from the expo hall

One of the many gorgeous downtown arcades

Newt and condors at the Natural History Museum

Hanging with other social media managers

Cheek totally acting up again after a week with stressful hours, lots of people, time spent outside where all the allergens are *gasp*

I’m used to riding the metro now. Gonna miss it.

Thai Boat Noodles for lunch at Grand Central Market

Running into all Getty staff there

Conference is over! Snuggle time with pups.

Making a card for a manuscript curator colleague’s son’s bday.

Tried to look nice, accidentally looked like ketchup and mustard

Details from the Malibu Hindu Temple. Stopped there after the colleague’s son’s bday. So beautiful.

So I’ll dress like graph paper and go out to dinner with friends.
I’ll leave it there! 🙂
Much love friends.
