MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: OCTOBER 12 – 18, 2015!
Playing on Instagram at two staff Instameets, designing posters for a Halloween podcast special, and 4 days of intensive leadership training over in Claremont, and a weekend of attempting to recharge my introverted self. *Stress eczema*

Enjoy!

While the weather doesn't feel like fall, the morning light and evening sunset are so nice this time of years. The days are getting shorter which means better light to catch in the morning!

Pasta leftovers for my sad desk lunch. My keyboard is dirty…

Had our cute lunch time staff InstaMeet.

Walking around, coaching new Instagram users on how to use it, taking new photos, exploring the galleries…

And then I went on my way to Claremont!

My living quarters for the next few days. I'm doing a Getty Leadership Institute program that is hosted at Claremont Graduate school. I had that online seminar the week before, but this week we have an IRL component that dives deeper into the topics we covered online.

Untitled
Night one. It's been like 5 hours only and I'm already drained. I'm introverted and turning my social skills up on high really burns my energy.

Untitled
Trader Joe's salad for dinner while doing my readings for the class the next day.

Two beds, one Sarah. I took all the pillows and blankets from one bed and moved them over to the other. HEAVENLY.

Untitled
Oh man look at that fluff.

Untitled
This whole week is like…mirror shots. Haha the day was really long and intensive, discussing leadership styles, team management, finding your strengths and weaknesses, and challenges in museum work. Very interesting, very fulfilling, lots of brain power dedicated to it…

Lovely. The color is light on metal and the square/diamond is just a hole that looks up at the sky.

My face eczema is really poppin'

Untitled
And the next day was a great panel on diversity, discussions about how to improve diversity in the field, and our capstone presentations! Didn't document any of it, I was a stress ball. But I did it! What an enriching and challenging few days. *Still pooped*

If I had it my way I'd just sit in silence for the next two days to recharge from the leadership course.

Untitled
But alas, it's the taping of Dick Duquesne tonight and I have to go be alive.

Got home and found Sufi sitting on my pillow. Thanks, Suf.

I’ll leave you with that!

This week I’m heading to Utah for a road trip! Feel free to follow me on Instagram @sleepywaldo if you don’t want to wait for a weekly thing. (It’ll probably be late cuz we’ll be on the road all day Monday).

Much love friends.
