MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JUNE 15 – 21, 2015!
A week of furious poster design, an opening at the Getty, blood tests, and matzo ball soup. The second taping of Zeen’s radio play, and a sunrise event at work…
Enjoy!
It’s already the next episode of Zach’s podcast taping, a poster design is in order. I wake up early a few mornings in a row to get these done.
Today is also the day I meet my summer intern, and give a presentation about social media at the Getty. I want to look professional, yet approachable, and still be comfy.
After work there’s an opening for an exhibition of prints from the time of King Louis XIV
And look who showed up! Weird Monday.
The pups love soaking up the sun in the mornings
My hair color (after two showers) has already basically lost all color…
But I feel okay because Kiki cooked up some bomb tofu tacos
Get your tongue off my green onion
Being lazy on the comfiest couch in the world
Hurray, a doctor’s appointment first thing in the morning
A quick stop at home to kiss Tubby’s face and I’m off to work to give another presentation
At the end of a stressful and long day, drowning my anxieties in a ralph’s rotisserie chicken
Today we’re filming some singers reading from the books in the manuscripts exhibition
Awesome but heavy rig for the camera
Poster designs are finally complete!!!!!
I like how the neon one turned out. I can post the link to the soundcloud once the podcast goes up. There will be 2 episodes released this month hopefully.
Spent a lot of the day cleaning, which means Tweedy gets a little hammock set up for his bed
^___^ Happy birthday, Aryn. Miss you everyday!
Kiki having a hard time being alive
Pulling it together for some breakfast
Then straight to nap time with some Olivia Benson realness
Kiki’s first time at Canter’s!
I got an avocado melt, why not
A quick stop in Europe aka the Grove to see Inside Out!
And then it’s straight to Fairfax to catch Dick Duquesne Episode 2: Dick Does Vegas
Props for all the live sound effects
Cut to, a few hours later. I’m up at the Getty for a sunrise event.
It’s dark and dreary and the 405 is eerily empty
We’re here for a sunrise happening, multiple museums across the globe are participating in a sunrise event for Yoko Ono’s retrospective. This was a re-interpretation of a performance from 50 years ago, another Sunrise Piece done in NY.
And then since it was Father’s Day, we headed off to breakfast
Who doesn’t want spam for breakfast on Father’s Day
I was so exhausted the rest of the afternoon, I totally passed out for like 4 hours after breakfast.
Met up back in South pas for a BBQ with family…
Then back to being a weirdo falling asleep way before 10pm.
Much love friends.
