MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: MARCH 2 – 8, 2015!
A night at the natural history museums (dinos and all), a day of carefree living at Disneyland, and more of giving Hanna a little taste of Los Angeles in here time here.
Enjoy!
Starting the week with some lipstick, because why not!
Sometimes I get dressed in the dark and step outside and really notice my color clashing.
At evening got dinner with Hanna, Zach, and Evan. Haven't been to this place in a long time, but the steak was really yummy! And who doesn't love arugula.
I'm not a huge potato fan, but I was told these mashed potatoes were delicious
Got a treat from Rita's! Italian ice with a cream on top.
Gorgeous morning light on the ceiling
Using my Daiso egg heart shaper and it worked pretty well actually!
Coming in and taking the tram!
This eczema patch on my wrist is so obnoxious
A view of the Getty from a different side.
Sunlight and some recent rain means little sprouts through the architecture
Green stuff (but really that eggplant was so yummy)
FaceTiming with Alex and kitties
Had a day off after a stressful week…so took some time to have fun at Disney!
I have a friend who is currently volunteering at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand, so here's my elephant…sanctuary…on the Jungle Cruise
Stuffed animal ghosts from the Haunted Mansion
YOU GUYS. PICKLE POPCORN! (In Carsland) You must try it it's so delicious.
Jalapeno cheese pretzel and beer! The classic Disneyland way….
Love the colorful umbrellas on the "pier"
Proof that I'm a winner (I'm Player 1)
Lovely Orange sunset on the way home
Tweedy you NEED a haircut worse than Zach
Beemo! Lead me to the weekend!
Friday! Was looking forward to the Natural History Museum evening event all week! Kiki took me to meet up with some of her work peeps.
It's called "First Fridays" and you can just wander the space with drinks (not into all exhibits).
They recently redid their dinosaur hall, which is SO much nicer than when I was little.
My one complaint is that the information panels were totally geared towards little kids (which I understand), but there wasn't really an experience I could see (like mobile info or something) for adults.
I liked this display and design of field tools to use on a dig
Gem displays knocking everybody's socks off
After the museum we met up with James nearby at a wine bar. We shared some sangria.
In summer camp there would be kids who had shoes similar to this that they could wear to the pool or running around or hiking and I WANTED THEM when I was little. Saw Target had an off brand version and while I feel a bit nerdy wearing them…I LUV EM
Hanna and I enjoying some iced coffee outside on the patio! SO WARM.
Went with Sara and Hanna to the really big Torrance Mitsuwa. So much better than my little Mitsuwa.
Hanna had some colorful little rolls
Sara's birthday celebration is the next day, so she got a bunch of treats to share with all her guests.
MOCHI DONUTS. It's mochi with cream inside. Crazy! And not too sweet which I enjoy.
Tweedy wearing socks I got at Daiso (Japanese dollar store) that are meant for chair legs. Yes. Chair socks.
Rattlesnake sausage! And fries. Thank you, Wurstkuche.
Sara tries mustard. She's not a fan.
Pups get little bones! They devoured them.
Wearing white for Sara's winery birthday celebration!
Eating my last mochi with cream. This one is sakura.
Finally managed to put up these cute plates on the kitchen wall.
Much love friends!
Travel updates soon, I promise!
