MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JULY 21 – 28
An after hours evening at the zoo, more Tweedy bath times, another round of kimono clad cousins, and a day with old and new friends at Knott's Berry Farm.
Getty skies, as blue as can be.
End of the day, scoop the Tweedy away!
Twin faces before another open mic night for Zach. Evan and I shared half off mozzarella sticks. I haven't had a mozzarella stick in so loooonnng.
Lunch at work was particularly lovely. Grilled squid and shrimp salad yummm. Only complaint? Not enough shrimp!
Ordered a ramen to take home with me to South Pasadena. The next day I had a really early dentist appointment so I wanted to just sleep at home. Of course went to the wrong Jinya location…
Love sleeping at home with my handsome prince boy.
Here for two fillings. One was between two of my molars and one was in the far back by my gum. My mouth wasn't made to survive.
These little guys seem full of personality
After my dentist appt it was time to celebrate my mom's birthday with some Chinese seafood.
From South Pas I headed over to Studio City to meet up with Kiley
We brainstormed a bit for some work things for her
I feel like I look like Patrick Fuget in Almost Famous maybe
She kind of looks like Toothless (yes, the dragon)
Gabby is a straight up ATM machine
Hot wings and beer kind of night
Some American Horror Story: Coven marathoning with Gabbz (and Tweedy)
Friday night and I'm having a beer at the LA Zoo!
Unfortunately the zoo is still a depressing place. On the one hand people can appreciate and encounter animals they wouldn't otherwise, on the other…the apes, the elephants…I couldn't help but humanize their actions. They seemed sad.
Joe hangin' in a scary green cave
All of Friday is documented in a separate post HERE!
Good morning, Tweedz!
Bathroom at Knott's Berry Farm!
I had my first taste of a funnel cake. I must say…not a fan.
Corny stunt show. Always surprisingly alluring.
I remember always getting dippin' dots at this very booth whenever I came to Knott's as a kid.
Squid heads
SO HAPPY to see they had plushes from my favorite Snoopy movie: Snoopy's Reunion!
James wanted to hit up a Korean BBQ place across from the park.
They are the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the morning Tweedy gets another bath
I meet up with the little cousins again at another Obon this weekend.
I took a bit of footage of things over the week. I'm thinking of doing a video of little moments throughout the week. Especially my little cousins dancing in their kimonos. 🙂
Thanks for reading!
Much love friends.
