Tweedy somehow has a big ol' head wound. One moment he's fine, the next it's bleeding! He's now wearing a cone of shame, but I still have no idea how he got this.

Our delightful office manager threw a "yay new office party" for everybody to come enjoy treats in the new dungeon space.

Cronuts got involved. Though technically not a cronut (trademarked), they were #Onuts T__T
I'm sorry to say I don't really care for cronuts. I think they take the best part of a croissant and the best part of a doughnut and smush 'em together.

Kiki and I attempt to save the house from a fire, we failed.

Been suckling down throat coat…maybe it's a change in the weather or something, but my throat was aching, with no other signs of illness.

Wednesday rolled around. The temperature was going to break 100. I put up a makeshift curtain in my work room to be preventative. I think it looks like flayed skin. 😦

My parents wanted to hang with me before I left for Seattle, so they came over to help me with my plant situations.

We went to Home Depot! Woo.

Much discussion over pots, pricing and plants.

But LOOK! So many green things!!!!

Hottest day so far this year and I thought it was a great time to get matzo ball soup.

I brought this leg home on my way back from lunch, it helped me do my online class work while in front of the fan.

So many avocados to use…guac sure!

I'm serious. The heat. So bad. You guys.

The thought of going outside…miserable.

On my way to work in the morning. Taken around 8 AM – it's ALREADY miserably hot.

and in true office fashion, it's way too cold to get things done without a blanket. Also my bangs. So croooked.

A goodbye event at the fancy trustee house meant many employees putting their feet and legs in the little pool. Professionalism OUT. It was great.

Going to see a play about this story…hint, the headline is "German court sentences cannibal to life in jail" so that means I gotta dress up just a little.

Found my doppelganger on this mural

Yeah…the play WENT there. It wasn't bad! One actor totally overshadowed the other. But maybe that's because his character wasn't as interesting or developed. Either way, haven't seen a life show in a while and that was a treat to come back to.

Saturday is fly day! Boy, I lucked out on the way into Seattle. Only two seats were available on the flight, and they were both next to me! I suspect a couple was running REALLY late for their flight and blew it.
