MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JANUARY 29–FEBRUARY 4, 2018!
A week with a lot of food: homecooked Japanese food, Superbowl snacks, a big pan of pasta, and more. I also get a haircut, try to make slime at home, and spend an afternoon in the Arts District.
Enjoy!
Made a bold choice with my red cape at work on Monday morning.
My apartment is still full of a bit of photography equipment, but I promise to clean up soon.
Decided on some Korean BBQ for dinner cuz we got back from Utah the evening before and didn’t feel like doing any grocery shopping.
Takes a lot of focus and concentration to be the grill master
Going to the Getty Villa today
The traffic was really terrible
Weirdly traffic stacked up down the freeway because of some tree trimmers. Dang it!
Unfortunately it was sort of a cloudy day so the light wasn’t super amazing.
Went to UCLA to present a bit to a class about writing for the web.
Public speaking fear is still there, unfortunately.
Zach made some brussels sprouts
Wednesday! Another day going to the Villa so I had to do my running outside instead of in the gym.
I put off shooting this in the daylight so finally did that.
Wednesday, another day shooting at the Villa.
Went to do some grocery shopping. Had a dumb moment and learned that orzo is not rice, it is pasta.
Wings were on sale and it’s always a good night to take rosemary chicken
Lots of cutting of ingredients
The moon was so big and beautiful and bright I thought from the corner of my eye that it was a street light.
Adding the chicken stock and orzo oh no so close to overflowing
Parking lot staircase with the nicest light
Scheduled a hair cut for the weekend so now is the time to think about if I like my hair longer or not.
The one card he needed, he got
I won! It was super close…9 to 9 to 10.
Wandered around the galleries to find Jase who was at the Getty to visit
Mango con chili margarita on Friday eve.
Saturday we ran a bunch of errands including a stop at PetSmart and Michael’s
Stopped at the Japanese Market
My “Yonsei Cooking: Oyakodon” post is here! Full recipe and stuff.
The butter slime kind of imploded. Sigh. Harder than it looks!
Sunday! I documented this day, so the full detailed day should be up soon I hope.
Matcha latte and a blueberry scone
Thanks for the cut, Angelica!!!
Twas a Glenn cage cleaning day
I’ll end with this *bliss* Eagles winning moment. I talked through most of the game (sorry, Zeen) but I think I caught all the good parts.
Much love friends. Hope you’re all having a great week!
