MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: OCTOBER 24-30, 2016
A week leading up to a work trip in New Orleans so naturally I was stressed about missing out on fall things cuz of work stress so I made stupid costumes for the dogs, ordered a skeleton costume for me online, forced friends to dress up over the weekend, and even made myself watch a scary movie wowow.
Enjoy!
At work in the evening is a big In Style awards thing, staff are encouraged to walk a different way to exit.
I am feeling the pressure of tryna be festive before fall is OVER
Haven’t made rosemary chicken is a while
Then helps me with some design work
Wore eyeshadow for some reason to work
I appreciate this house in my neighborhood, they go all for all the holidays
Parked on a weird plank but…hey…guess that works
So happy this Korean place exists on the Westside now. It’s the “basics” I think…(I’m not an expert) but it’s great to have the option closer than Korea Town. Of course we ordered way too much.
Alex moved to Hawaii, he made and is alive!
Quick trip to the Halloween store. I didn’t actually end up buying anything. I wanted to buy a Halloween costume this year because I had no parties or any thing to really go to, and the day of Halloween I’d actually be in New Orleans for a conference…so…I just wanted to be a skeleton.
Ended up ordering something online that was like $13
Getting more colorful sunsets ❤
Cheeks getting a lil’ pink – the season is changing so my eczema will naturally get a lil’ worse
Tried to dress up! Tonight I’m going with Zach, Kiki, and Ders to an event that Zach’s friend’s dad was playing at. It also was an industry event for Kiki. Two connections to the same event…but all I knew was free food and free drinks!
The giant ladies bathroom/lounge area
Photobooth. I never can perform at Photobooths…too many flashes, not enough creativity
The next day I got started on very important dog Halloween costumes
Sandwiches!!!!! The pups are gonna hate this.
My dad bought another one of the race track deals where you get a lil’ box and a sandwich and a beer. My mom loves going.
Rye bread with mustard and corned beef and some salt and pepper kettle chips.
Wearing the lil’ cape I got in Austin
Happy early birthday, Dad!!!!!
I only ever bet the minimum, $2…I basically broke even by the end of the day though!
We always walked over to the area where you can see the horses before you bet on them…what if they looked sick?!? OR nuts?!
Quick dinner at Sage Bistro. Happy early b-day dad! (I’ll be in New Orleans during his real bday)
The skeleton costume came! It’s perf. Suppppper terrible quality but cheap and it works.
I got Kiki one too. We all watched The Babadook for some Halloween spooky times.
YES!!!!!! They fit and they look soooo dummmbbbb. Perfect
They wouldn’t wear them for long, obviously
GECKO! Brought him out to hang while I did some work on my laptop
Picked up an eyeball at Ralph’s
Put Tweedy in his costume from last year
Saturday night is the perfect time for Dungeons and Dragons, Halloween editions. Today’s menu: hot wings
The balloon was perf because we ended up facing and fighting an eyeball monster.
Driving the pups to South Pas so they can hang with my parents for the week
Drove to a new lil’ area that developed by the metro called “Platform”
Got the icecream before heading home to pack for a week work trip to New Orleans…
Much love friends!
