This is Thursday, November 24, 2016 aka Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving Day with my family in South Pas. I took on the enormous responsibility of making the garlic mashed potatoes. *The pressure* Will I succeed?
Good morning! Slept in, feeling like a princess.
Yes! I’m in South Pas for Thanksgiving.
My skin is doing horrible things
My bunk beds are gone, they were handed down to my little cousins. And now my college bed is back!
My mom has a bunch of stuff in boxes and bags in my room, she’s cleaning me out 😦
On the other side the barrier, the pups!
Tweeedy, king of the couch
Mom has been cooking all morning. Feeling a little guilty but also I’m useless. My one job is mashed potatoes.
Zach is in New York with his family and they all went to the Macy’s Day Parade together
We watch the parade together, and nooo didn’t see Zach on TV
Feeding Glenn the gecko
Found my Roehampton University sweater (or jumper more like)
Washed my face
And my bangs
I was good and brought vitamins with me.
As I mentioned, my mom has been cleaning my room and purging my things. She found this project I vividly remember working on in 5th grade. I remember going to the fabric store and picking out this cow print, and then incorporating the print theme into each drawing. *Genius*
Page about my name…#blessed (my middle name means blessed child)
Love this section about beliefs…”I have no reason to doubt the Tooth Fairy! I have never seen her. She never fails to replace a tooth with money.”
Was overwhelmed with nostalgia, had to tweet about it.
Back to bed
Tubby came in and Sufi hid behind boxes.
My dad is delighted to see Tubby as a boss man
Working on editing photos of the surprise party that my mom helped throw for her friend
Munching on some arare
*Editing, editing, editing*
Getting in the dinner party mood
Looking up a potato recipe
“Sarah, forget the recipe, just peel these friggin’ potatoes.”
My mom and I both share a love of Criminal Minds, why not peel potatoes as the bureau solves a crime?
I throw some garlic cloves in with the boiling water
Scoop that foam
Butter. Milk. Garlic. Milk. Butter.
Mash mash mash dat shit
My beautiful creation
Tired gross face
Okay don’t look at my pimples
Heading over early to my cousin’s to take family photos for her Christmas cards
Load up the food, load up my mom
Passed my dad walking the dogs on our way hahah
The two of us managed to carry everything in in only one trip from the car. Thanksgiving miracle.
As soon as I walked in, lil’ cousin: “Come see our new beds!!!”
Cute! Mini bunks for both of them with fairy lights.
They are delighted
The calm before the feasting
Wrangling the girls for a quick family photo shoot. “Cross your legs, please”
Attempting to ball.
My favorite thing is how interested both of them are in taking photos with the big camera
“Come finish your pies!”
Important responsibility. Making the sweet potato pie.
One marshmallow on the pie, one in the mouth.
My cousin practicing his cocktail making skills (no a child didn’t make this whiskey sour)
Let’s play doctor!
Lil’ doctor: What are your symptoms?
Me: I have a cough.
Lil’ doctor: We’re going to cut your ears off. And your hands!”
Me being tortured aka helped.
Me: “What kind of doctor’s are you!??!”
Lil’ doctor: “WE AREN’T DOCTORS”
Jumped from the doctor’s office to the Barbie house. They refused to give my doll a shirt.
We had a lot of horse riding accidents
Quick turkey photoshoot
Making the gravy
Remember being little in the kitchen with activity swirling around you
COME AND GET IT
Dividing up into our three tables. Kids table. Young adults table. Mature table.
Brussel sprouts, spinach salad, stuffing, green beans, sweet potato pie, a roll, turkey, and garlic mashed potatoes!
Pumpkin pie for dessert accompanied by the Moana soundtrack
Taking my coffee out on the deck
Telling spooky stories by the fire pit
And by spooky I mean very very silly.
Party winding down. All the moms are packing up leftovers.
The girls playing the “not my arms challenging”
Attempting to tie my shoe for me
Stopped by Lauren’s house on the way home to eat her leftovers too
She always brings the good cheese from San Francisco
AND PEPPERED SALAMI K
Sayin’ happy Thanksgiving, spreading the cheer.
Back at home. Cuddle the neurotic mess.
Mom putting the leftovers away
Tubby running away
My cousin got me puzzles for $3 each SO THOUGHTFUL
Decided on the cutest pic ever to post on Insta @sleepywaldo
Pimpley and happy and stuffed and thankful
Eagerly awaiting midnight…*BUT PLEASE IF YOU’VE SEEN NO SPOILERS*
Spend some time getting another backlogged update up
Great Gilmore quiz. Take it here! My new high score is 29.

Much love friends.
