CHICAGO – APRIL 2015!
Photos from two days absorbing Chicago’s architecture from land and boat. Also includes a 30 Second video that you can see halfway through or here.
Enjoy!
I never updated photos from the few days I went without documenting in Chicago. Sights included Anish Kapoor’s famous Cloud Gate in Millenium Park…
And lots of shots of Kiki LIVING it up in Chitown
I like the squiggly reflection of the cement
Kind of like Cloud Gate in the clouds, it disappears into the sky
Cloud Gate has only been here since 2006
However, on cloudy days the smudges and scratches on the surface are more emphasized.
But certainly room to see what you’d look like if you ever gave birth fully clothed
Outdoor concert amphitheater by Frank Gehry
Pretty wood against the buildings consumed by cloud
Skyline from the pedestrian bridge.
30 Seconds in Chicago (including Cloud Gate and what you’ll see next…)
Wilco Towers! We’re on the architecture boat tour, which everybody told me was the best thing to do in Chicago. It was a sunny day and we had this adorable little woman dressed for church as our guide.
The big blank wall is where the stage is inside the opera house
We didn’t notice they were boarding the boat, so we got the last choice of seats INSIDE. It was a beautiful day so we just chose to stand at the sides
A peek at Willis *Sears* Tower
Much love friends!
