MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: FEBRUARY 2 – 8, 2015
A week of working partially from home, and a spontaneous, short road trip to San Francisco. A visit to Alcatraz and spending time with my favorite people…plus amazing Chinese food…doesn’t get better!
Enjoy!
THIS WEEK IN PHOTOS LAST YEAR: HERE!
Zach’s still recovering from surgery, but Tweedy is being a good pal.
A bathroom at work, a Cezanne poster and tropical airfreshener
Leaving work to help Zeen live his life as a post-surgery boy
Working from home means Tweedy becomes a pillow
Night strikes and Tweedy scares the shit out of me. I didn’t notice him there for hours.
The eczema on my face has cleared up a lot! Thank glob.
Taking the tram up to the office
Still loving my newly re-organized office
And this HUGE swarm of birds flew right over me, freaked me out! But was awesome
Scary dark photo of the local track
Just couldn’t take it anymore…they were too smelly
Hahah. Well, they didn’t really last for very long out there. I understand, it gets a bit chilly! Especially when you’re wet
The next morning Tweedy gets brave with the neighborhood cats
Pretty light patterns on my way out
Printed out weekend tickets to Alcatraz!
Had lunch with a colleague who got me this adorable potato zine from the MOCA Art Book fair.
Cute addition to the office line up
Ahh the feeling of leaving work while it’s magic hour
Goodbye, work! I rushed over to Kiki’s place, ditched my car there, and me, Kassie and Kikz hit the road.
Stuck in LA traffic on our way north to San Francisco!
First stop once we were clear of traffic was In N’ Out
The next morning! (I fully documented this day which will be up this week)
A sneak peek of the Farmer’s Market
ALCATRAZ! It’s real! Apparently these waters are super shark infested
Visiting some of my favorite ladies!
A sneak peek into the prison interior – more to come in my ADIML
Rachel met up with us too! T__T So many lovely ladies
Black outlines of the knives so security would know right away if one went missing
Sneak peek at the Ai Wei Wei installation!
Lego portraits of political prisoners
Rachel’s sad to leave her new home
The next morning it was super stormy
Watching Kiki master her eyeliner
Taking Lauren out to San Tung as a thank you for letting us crash
We had to wait a bit outside before the restaurant opened
Hot and sour soup – so delicious and peppery! I think it’s the best I’ve ever had.
The most delicious, sticky, saucy, sweet, spicy chicken wings
Black bean noodles with seafood
Had to get our coffee for the road
And had to say goodbye to Lauren and Rachel 😦
Rain rain, perfect for a long drive…O__O
Stopped by a vintage shop in Oakland
Edna Mode…my hair is in this horrible inbetween short/long state
Just LOVIN’ this beautiful drive home! All the rainbows!
We slowly drove away from the rain and into the sun
Man, it’s so much better driving during the day!
Can’t wait to share my documented day, and going to post once more my 30 Seconds at Alcatraz video…cuz it makes me feel happy!
Much love friends.
