MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: FEBRUARY 1-7, 2016!
A leisurely Monday in the snow, a week of eating out too much, getting in my Kiki time, and prepping for the Puppy Bowl!
Enjoy!

Good morning and happy Monday from Utah!

Enjoying the blizzard with coffee and warm socks and blankets. *Heaven*

Zach cooking up some bacon and eggs

I wanted to go outside so badly

We found some snow shoes and bundled up.

Falling into position for snow angel making

The car wasn’t parked in the garage and accumulated…a lot of snow…

I made the mistake of trying to help clear off the car with wet hair and it started to freeze!

All stores should have a “Salty snacks” area

Finally, all these years that I’ve come up to Utah I’ve always wanted to go to the Park City Museum…and we are here!

This is the infamous “underground ski lift” that was used in early Park City ski resorts. They used old mine shafts (creepy) and an old mine car (also creepy) to transport skiiers to the top of the mountains. More on “Utah History to Go”

Park City was mainly a impoverished mining town before skiing brought fanciness to the mountain.

I take pictures of books I want to read to remind myself to get them on amazon. I knew there was an area near Main Street in Park City called ‘China Bridge’ and always was curious why it was called that. Turns out there used to be a walkway bridge above Chinatown so white folks didn’t have to talk alongside the Chinese population. *history*

Perfect time for a feast and an old fashioned

Kicked Zeen’s butt at pool before we headed to the airport

Back close to midnight, cooked up some ramen noodles and am standing on a pee pad *so tired*

But the good news is my cats are really thriving

Back at the office. My cheek is a little more inflamed again, I think because of the flight and the cold.

This clock is like 9 feet tall, just shows you how tall my co-workers are

We made a coloring book for #ColorOurCollections week, and I mean “book” as in 7 printable pages with collection images you can color in. That’s here.

Back to normal life with Kiki and hot cheetos. Today attempting XXTra flamin’ hot.

Indian food to share for three of us, and I still had leftovers for like 3 nights.

He doesn’t want all the croutons and they are my favorite

Leaving work when it was LIGHT OUT. Met Kiki for happy hour at a yakitori place

At the wine bar at the Landmark theater, here for a film screening as Kiki’s PLUS ONE. Bein’ VIP.

Officially have switched to soy milk

Got our paper flowers from Zach’s cousin, Margie. She hand makes and designs all kinds of paper flower bundles, bouquets, etc. Look at her stuff: http://www.thelovelyave.com/

At the Getty Villa for an education event

Wore my Acropolis sweater I bought in Athens way back in 2011

I can’t believe I don’t wear this more

Came straight home from the Villa to process photos, etc.

Marie joined to do some laptoppin’ too

Finally feeling okay about my face and eczema issue

LOVE MY RASHES, LOVE THE SKIN YOU’RE IN

It was so warm on Saturday, sandal weather!

Blood spatter cups at a coffee shop

Yalla is new in the neighborhood and we were asked to fill out a survey for a free meal. WHY NOT. Notice Zach’s smiley face skills…

Such a bright and beautiful day

Mega grocery shopping for Superbowl Sunday

Blind folded hijinks. Zach hates surprises, Evan loves them. You can tell.

We did dinner and then a night at the barcade

Two quick hours of karaoke before we said bye bye to Alex.
