MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JANUARY 26 – FEBRUARY 1, 2015!
A week of attempting more home-cooking, watching drones fly (for Instagram), skiing, Utah, and too many snowy landscape photos. Enjoy?!?!
🙂
THIS WEEK IN PHOTOS LAST YEAR: HERE!

Marching into work with a grey sky and sunny foreground, my favorite.

I ordered each of us that work in this basement office a happy light, it's supposed to give you full light spectrum and make you feel livelier, like you've actually been outside in the sun.

It's pretty bright and has taken some time to get used to.

Got my boss these paper notes, and it's so delightful to see them pop up in books around the office.

Seeing a drone with a gopro attached in real life! Crazy stuff.

Rainy day with some Instagrammers.

Blurry shot, apologies. But here are some breaded tilapia pieces, cooked in a pan with some veggies.

Working on the laptop with Sufi watching the door for me.

Beautiful blue skies after the rain

Lots of yellow food items for lunch! Polenta, veggies, and curried cauliflower

For dinner I made some red curry with veggies and chicken over rice

And roasted some rosemary salted potatoes

Doing a face mask like a good person with skin

Baby Tweedy getting all snuggly

Kiki taking Basel, my basil plant

The plants are pretty chull in the neighbor's yard

The assortment of lots of dumb stuff by the entryway

Suckling that coffee in the AM

Finally getting used to the bright ass "happy light"

Another view of one of my favorite meeting rooms

Running a social media project on site, and this month's highlighted object is this King Louis portrait! Tristan nailed it.

Leaving work when it's light out!

Waiting room art at the hospital. My lovely friend Iris' favorite painter.

Zach went into surgery to fix his hernia, nothing too extreme! But it did involve me waiting around.

Babysitting this glasses while he did the whole surgery thing

Some hospital cafe breakfast. Had to be at the office by 5:30 am…was pretty hungry by the time Zeen went into surgery and I was kicked out like 8 am.

Took a walk outside after the doctor reported that Zach made it through surgery.

We were at the hospital a total of about 9 hours…not quite the "quick in and out" they described. But he's okay! Just been recovering.

So Zach had to heal, but one of us had to go to Sundance! Evan grabbed me some Panda Express, which meant taking it through security…(no problem)

Wish I was sitting next to that dog

Made it to gorgeous Park City!

I forgot ALL my toiletries…had to repurchased random things, especially lotion.

I've been getting eczema on my face…and I don't have my prescription stuff so had to make due with the drug store goodies.

The first day Evan and I decided to go do snow sports. Remember, I've only been ONCe before in my whole life. It's not quite like riding a bike…

Everything the snow does is beautiful

Wintery things are still so surprising for me

I'm still amazed by winter sports.

Taking a selfie on a chairlift is a dangerous game

These snowy landscapes are probably so boring to some of you who get snow/winter…

I'll post a separate movie review post. I saw 12 movies in 2.5 days, so I do have quite a bit to share! Hopefully that'll be useful, I know a few of the things I saw will be coming out.

MET ANOTHER OWL. That means I've met 2 owls in 4 months. (Okay, you haven't seen this yet – but I'll share I promise)

Sometimes it's fun to be the only one in line. You get to eat a bunch of popcorn alone.
And that concludes the week!
Much love friends.
