MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: FEBRUARY 5–11, 2018!
A cloudy start to the week leads into a few sick days at home. I conquer my cold and am determined to see Lunar New Year celebrations at Disneyland before retreating into total Winter Olympics 2018 obsession.
The gym at work was supposed to be closed for a few weeks, so I ordered a new gym bag online to replace my old camp backpack (that I’ve loved and had for approximately 10 years…) and it’s smaller but cuter and I’m still learning how to pack it.
Enjoying my haircut and the beauty of work sometimes.
Monday night tea and Indomie Mi Goreng hot and spicy nooooodlessssss classic Monday evening.
I looked over and Zach literally had Tweedy sleeping on his stomach and was googling baby shih tzu pictures.
Tuesday. Weirdly cloudy. The Getty is somewhere in that cloud.
I actually went home from work early because I was feeling feverish, headache, achy, and scared that I was coming down with the flu that people at work were all getting sick from. Kindly, Zach had to go to a rehearsal but snuck in an order of food that included veggies to heal me ahah.
I was talking to friends last week about how I randomly felt like watching Casper and really wished I could find it. Thankfully it found ME as I was scrolling through Netflix feeling sick. Guys…it holds up.
Wednesday! Stayed home from work…slept and medicated and slept more and then had some eggs on toast!
Afternoon, lots of sleeping…very sweaty…why not some iced coffee and Tweedy snuggling.
Standing. Hydrating. Playing with my clear slime.
Spent some evening energy continuing to edit photos from my time in Thailand
Thurssday! Home one more day…
My hairs were tickling the sides of my face and I just had to get them off my face.
Graduated from the bed to the couch today
Tweedy assiting me with work
Making some kabocha squash in my leftover homemade dashi
Also attempted a soup and added rice noodles…added way too much.
Cook kabocha cook!
The noodles stole all my soup 😦
The 2018 Winter Olympics started! Tweedy watched over my shoulder.
Had a true blast watching the Olympics…maybe it was me finally feeling more human and less like a foggy mess, or maybe it was the dazzling inspirational athletes of the Olympic games? Either way…yay!
Whipped up some more slime with my newfound energy
My beautiful clear slime. Is it just my explore page that is full of slime videos? Am I a weird internet teen at heart?
When it is your day off and you feel human and you can see Mulan IRL…time to go to Disney
At the carwash
Happy Lunar New Year!
They had special food carts too…including soup dumplings (they were ok but I appreciate the effort)
Mulan procession with Mushu!!!
Popped by to peep the food, crafts, and the meet and greet areas.
Single rider Radiator Springs
Why is Mickey creepin’
Over to Disneyland
Aw classic Minnie in her classic dress
It was a bit crowded and there’s quite a bit of construction so we went around checking some wait times and collecting fast passes
Great photos, Zeen
The Void at Downtown Disney
Brief stopover at Trader Sam’s
Pizza before running off to World of Color
Intense fire in the Pirates of the Carribean part
Watched the Opening Ceremony! (Chloe Kim!)
Did you watch the Opening Ceremony? Have you been watching the Olympics? Where are you from! I used to love winter Olympics as a kid and kinda fell on and off watching them. Have had so much fun this year. And Mirai Nagasu on the USA figure skating team skates in Pasadena, basically a hometown gorl.
Zach had to head off to a rehearsal, I decided to go outside and get fresh air
Buying these clearance workout clothes two Christmases ago makes me look like a pro biker sometimes when worn together ahah
Attempting sweet potato fries but I can’t cut potatoes and I seasoned too much…
Lunch…sad fries…didn’t come out great. My oven runs SO hot.
What am I going to do with all this slime ahah
Watched on Saturday evening, Tristan in style.
Spent some time on Sunday morning posting my day 3 and day 4 of my trip in Thailand. Over 250 photos in this post, I think…enjoy! (It is long, be warned!)
Somebody got a bath
She came for the laundry, stayed for the Olympics ahaha. It’s all I have this week.
Worked on another foodle aka food doodle this time of a taro slushie boba!
Tried my hot pot again this time to make another budae jjigae kit from the Korean market but with bonus budae jjigae ramen.
Adam Rippon and hot pot
Turned out pretty good!
Witnessed Mirai Nagasu hit that triple axel and become the first American woman to land the triple axel at the Olympics!!! Yaaaah!!!!!
I’ll end it with Mirai.
Hope you are having a good week! Much love friends.
