MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: DECEMBER 25–31, 2017!

Christmas day has arrived. Spending a week with my family at home, on our annual wine-tasting trip to Paso Robles area, and preparing for a New Years Eve gathering at Kiki’s. Aryn comes down to visit and Tubby is happy. Enjoy and Happy New Year!

Pulled a card for the new year. “The Four of Swords shows a period of rest and recovery after a time of challenge, with the promise that, once recovered, you can and will return to the challenge. In the meantime, the Four of Swords provides a new challenge – to stay silent and inactive. This is the time build up your mental strength. Meditate and spend time in a calm atmosphere. You need to replenish your strength and spend time in spiritual thinking. You need to rest and relax.”

Thought it was supposed to be the first meal of the New Year, but I think it was supposed to actually be the NYE meal. Close enough. #YonseiFail!!!!

Happy New Year! May your 2018 be the best year yet.

Much love friends.

  1. Happy New Year! Let’s make 2018 amazing. Thank you for sharing all your amazing stories and thank you for doing so consistently for so long. I always feel weird saying this, but I’ve been looking at your pictures since forever ago, 2004 or 2005? And you’re still the same awesome person you were then.

  2. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I’ve been so shit at commenting lately, sorry!

This post is full of cute duos: you and your mum with the leaves, Aryn and Tubby taking photos together, your parents waving you goodbye, and Aryn and Kiki looking stellar on NYE.

  3. Oooooh, so that’s how mochi is made!
Love how you’re still taking the wine trips. But that gum wall is disgusting ahhhhh :(( But overall the trip was so nostalgic!
Awwww James’ costume is on point!
And I just watched the video of the little girl interrupting her father’s interview that was so funny lol (and the baby1!!)
Your cousins are so cute!!! And already so big omg….probably the same age as you when you started taking pictures?
Love how tweedy and sufi look excited to see peanut!
And you look absolutely divine in your New Year photo (craving for soba now)
    Happy 2018, Sarah!

    1. What makes me so happy is my oldest “little” cousin seems interested in photography and is taking a class at the high school. And yeah, I haven’t thought about it like that but I guess she is the age I was when I first started photographing…ahhhhh. ❤
