There was an employee blood donation going on at work and when I was at the doctor the week before I was thinking that I really should do this when an opportunity arises…and it so happened it was on Wednesday. I got cold feet but was encouraged by a few co-workers to just do it. I was assured it would take like an hour tops for the whole thing…so…went with it.
I did it! Had to lay down for an extra hour and accidentally missed a meeting…but heyo it’s worth it right.
Got home and was feeling poopy, so had the laziest dinner ever…

Tristan’s empty desk (he’s on vacation). I printed a photo but our printer only does black and white so now it kind of looks like a sad memorial but I swear he’s alive and happy.
Been reflecting that my makeup/grooming skills kind of peaked in college (probably living with other girls and picking up skills and habits from them) and AM I GETTING UGLIER omg. Just one of those self-conscious days.
Met up with Kiki at her apartment, going downtown tonight.

Went to my cousin’s house to swim
I did a full documented day swimming with them a few weeks ago. You can see that here if you haven’t already!
In a few weeks they’ve been even more confident swimmers! It’s fun to use my camp counselor skills and “teach” basic swim skills. NOT taking credit for their success, just surprised how often my counselor-instincts still kick in.
Damn can’t take a decent selfie anymore (plus the eczema on my face still hasn’t cleared…). Clearly having some kind of moody week ahah. Sorry but heyo it’s my brain.

THIS. PUZZLE. Has been out on my parent’s table since CHRISTMAS! It’s SO hard and even harder to work on with artificial lighting. But I powered through and completed about half of it.

It was kinda crowded for being like 7:30am—my mom is obsessed with this one game (this game was also on the Mexican Rivieria cruise ship we went on earlier this year) and I think she’s been missing it. You can see some cruise life stuff here and here if you’re curious.

My mom wanted to get my dad some painting clothes (For when he gets around to painting the house) so we ran through Goodwill.
Caught Tweedy stretching. Spent the afternoon doing some homework for my Monday night class and some freelance work too.
Dad grilled some porkchops and potatoes. Mmmmm. Artichoke…mmmmm.

Your puzzle is of the Cinque Terre, right?? I’ve wanted to go there for years and in the past year two of my friends have gone and I’m so envious! It looks stunning.
My friends made a podcast about Riverdale called Teen Peaks, but I don’t think it’s on iTunes anymore. That show is ridiculous and I LOVE IT.

And ahaha thanks for the reassurance. Instagram shows me a lot of makeup tutorials and man…I have no skills. AND I have bad sensitive eczema prone skin…no fair.
I’m so thankful for my cousin’s pool…I’m gonna sneak in their backyard when it gets too hot in my apartment. I have no AC and this weekend in LA is going to be over 100 degrees F. 100!!!! ahh.
My puzzle is indeed Cinque Terre…it’s a long exposure night photograph and it’s really hard to use color to build the puzzle cuz it’s a little off. You’ve been traveling a lot recently, no?? How have your travels been?
Omg I just finished Riverdale LAST NIGHT. I bonded with my little teen cousins over Riverdale. I had a blast watching it, for sure.

Of course you’re not ugly! But I totally went through the same thing when I was 27, I just realized there was something wrong w my face…and when I read up on it, apparently our faces age and we have to do lots of things like skincare, fillers (for volume loss), our fat also starts to protrude in our under eyes due to the tear troughs…ugh :(( growing up sucks!
